Marine work

Elphinstone Enterprises has a workshop located at Burnie Wharf where we service the needs of our major client TOLL shipping. 

  • Maintenance of a fleet of roll trailers used to transfer shipping containers to and from the ships.
  • Painting of the roll trailers.
  • Maintenance and modification crews who work onboard the ships.
  • Maintenance of the associated equipment at the wharf workshop e.g. gooseneck equipment used to haul roll trailers, trailer stands, lashing gear.
  • Fabrication of cargo handling equipment including - lashing points, mushrooms, goosenecks, trailer stands and cargo securing chains.
